Our Commitment

Transparency & Privacy Commitment

At Knowivate, we believe privacy is not a luxury—it's a fundamental right. Here's our commitment to you.

Our Core Commitments

Privacy-First Mission

We protect user privacy above all else. What we wouldn't use ourselves, we don't provide.

User Choice Over Revenue

We prioritize your privacy over profits, even when it costs us money.

Sustainable & Ethical

Self-funded and committed to finding win-win solutions without compromising privacy.

Standing Against the Trend

We oppose the erosion of user privacy by governments and corporations.

Promise to Stay True

We commit to never becoming the companies we criticize today.

Data Minimization

We store as little data as possible—more security, lower costs, better service.

Our Privacy-First Mission

Our main aim is to protect user privacy to the utmost. What we as users cannot like to use, we don't provide those services. It's that simple.

Before, Knowivate was mostly ad-based and secure enough, but not as much as we—as users ourselves—want and expect. That's why we're redesigning our approach, making Knowivate more and more secure and privacy-friendly. We're also removing ads gradually, one by one.

User Choice Over Revenue

We currently give EU users the choice to toggle Google Analytics and Google Ads on or off—without any extra cost. For other users, this option is not currently available, but we're working to extend these controls to all users as we strive to provide the best privacy options globally.

In fact, stopping ads is costing us money, but we're okay bearing that cost for the sake of user privacy.

We believe privacy is not a luxury—it's fundamental. As an Indian organization, it's our fundamental right, and we're committed to protecting yours too.

Sustainability & Support

As of now, we don't have a robust business model that is win-win for both users and us while being sustainable, privacy-friendly, and secure. We're self-managing with our own funds.

If you want to support us, you can do so in many ways:

  • Share useful content and help other users
  • Spread the word about privacy-focused alternatives
  • Directly support us: Donate to Knowivate

Every contribution helps us continue building privacy-first services without compromising on user rights.

Standing Against the Trend

As an Indian organization, we have good enough rights for users. But nowadays, governments in India and around the world are trying to curtail user privacy. Big corporations and popular companies are treating users as just numbers or money-making machines.

We are the opposite. We'll try to keep ourselves aligned with privacy, transparency, and ethical practices.

Our Promise to Stay True

We know that when organizations grow bigger, they often start becoming bad. Google initially said "Don't be evil"—now they're becoming evil. We hope to never become one of those companies.

If we ever stray from our values, we expect other organizations to take our place and continue protecting user privacy. That's how it should be.

Your Feedback Makes Us Better

If you think any part of our services is not good, please provide us feedback. Constructive criticism helps us improve.

Before, many users constructively criticized our services, and it helped a lot to improve them and keep them privacy-friendly. We're grateful for that feedback and continue to welcome it.

Data Minimization by Design

Our aim is to store as little data as we can. This approach makes our services more secure by default and costs us less, allowing us to provide better services to you.

Less data stored = More security + Lower costs = Better services for everyone.

What This Means for You

  • Your data is yours. We don't sell it, rent it, or misuse it.
  • You have control over ads and analytics—no hidden costs.
  • We're transparent about what we collect and why.
  • We prioritize your privacy over our profits.
  • We're committed to staying accountable, even as we grow.
